PRINCE Harry has decided romance is pants compared with flying Apache helicopters – and has ditched lingerie model Florence Brudenell-Bruce.

Harry, 26, began dating the stunning 25-year-old, nicknamed Flee, in June.

But he has now called it off saying he doesn’t want to be “tied down”.

An insider said: “Harry has a lot on his mind at the moment. He is concentrating on his Apache helicopter training. After that, he’s expecting to return to Afghanistan.

“Harry enjoyed spending time with friends over the summer, but he doesn’t want to be tied down in a relationship when training, so he called time on Flee.”

Florence was keen for Harry to join her on holiday in Ibiza this month, but it was not to be.

And when the Prince and his friends were recently seen enjoying the company of some bikini-clad girls during a break in Port Andratx, Majorca, she remained back in the UK

For a time it looked as if things with Florence, who dated Formula 1 champion Jenson Button in 2008, were getting serious.

Harry introduced her to some of his closest friends and she was reportedly popular within the royal household.

Florence, who has fronted campaigns for Adidas and John Lewis and appeared in a Bollywood film, was also reportedly spending a lot of time with the Prince at her £2.5million home in London’s Notting Hill.

She had even attended the same posh Buckinghamshire Stowe School as his old flame Chelsy Davy.

Although Chelsy was a guest at Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton in April, shortly afterwards Harry declared himself to be: “100% single.”

And he did not take a date to cousin Zara Phillips’ wedding to rugby player Mike Tindall at the end of July.

Harry will soon resume his Apache training to become an Army Air Corps Pilot.

Clarence House said last night: “We do not comment on Prince Harry’s personal life.”
